The Essalam Mosque is an example of accentual designs and building that Rotterdam has to offer. It its located in my neighborhood of South Rotterdam. It was opened in 2010. Roughly, it is about 11-years old building.
Religion
If you are a religious person, you can experience a lot of freedom in Rotterdam. Moslem, Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Buddhist. That’s one of the special qualities about Rotterdam. The Essalam Mosque is just one example.

The Essalam Mosque is not just a place or worship for Moslems in Rotterdam. It is a center of the Muslim community in South Rotterdam. It is a place of meeting, praying and worshiping for the Rotterdam Muslim community.
