The buildings in my hometown of Rotterdam are unique. They are different from other cities. Some are old and historic with amazing stories behind them. And then, you have the new buildings like the new permanent home of Rotterdam Port Authority.

"Designs for a visitor center have been unveiled this week as the city of Rotterdam looks to transform public space in Europe’s busiest port." "The new Harbor Experience Center (HEC) is a collaboration between Dutch firms MVRDV and Kossmanndejong and features a series of five exhibition spaces stacked and rotated to offer visitors unique views of the city and port through panoramic windows and an open-air rooftop terrace complete with 266 solar panels." www.Archinect.com
According to the post from Archinect website, the new permanent home of Rotterdam Port Authority may not be permanent, after all. It is an absolutely fascinating building. The design is modern and captivating. When I walk around Rotterdam, one of the experiences that I often enjoy is the beautiful site of modern architectural buildings.
